WARM Project
As winter approaches, our hearts go out to the communities affected by Hurricane Helene in Avery, Mitchell, and Yancey Counties. Many families are facing the chilling reality of being without power, homes, and jobs. At WARM Project, we are committed to helping our neighbors stay warm during these challenging times.
We are accepting donations of generators, electric and propane heaters, propane, and other essential items to provide warmth and comfort to those in need. With the launch of WARM Project in mid-October, we have partnered with several organizations around the area to help us heat the homes that need it most as soon as possible.
Join us in our mission to bring warmth and hope to our community this winter.
Community Care Center
We are open Tuesday – Saturday 9 am-2 pm.
Dec 3rd is LAST DAY WE ARE ACCEPTING DONATIONS | Closing Day is Dec 14th
Located in the old Spruce Pine Food Lion Building, our Community Care Center is here to support everyone affected by this devastating event, not just those who have lost their homes. We have been incredibly blessed with generous donations from toiletries and clothing to household items and ample food. Our warehouse is filled with resources ready to be shared.
Our mission is to provide long-term relief and support to our community over the coming months. We believe everyone deserves access to essential items as we navigate this recovery together. We invite ANYONE in need to drop by and pick up any items you or your neighbors need.
Together, we can emerge from this challenging time stronger and more united. Thank you for being a part of this journey with us!

Help is needed!
Join us in partnering with the WARM Project to ensure our community stays warm this winter in the aftermath of Hurricane Helene. Your support can make a real difference—whether through financial donations or volunteering your time. Together, we can provide essential heating resources to those in need.
Our needs have been changing daily! Please check our page for the donations we are in of and donations we can not accept at this time. We also have volunteer opportunities in our Spruce Pine warehouse.
Every bit of support counts! Thank you for standing with us in this critical effort.
So teach us to number our days that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
